Colouring my work on Photoshop was my best option because it allowed me to carefully colour in the lines and erase any mistakes made. The image below shows how easy colouring was. As you can see, I was able to neatly colour in the mans hat to give it a bright yellow and red colour scheme.
I then started to shade my work by slightly fading the paint brush and going over every illustration that needed shading. The shading helped to give each illustration some texture and prevented them from looking boring and basic.
After all of the colouring and shading was done, I began to organise my three pieces of work (front cover, back cover and spine) to make the full book dust jacket.
