Final piece
This is my fink piece for unit 4. I am very pleased with this because it has turned out better than I expected. I feel like I have achieved what I wanted because it just generally looks so colourful and crazy, which is what works best for it's genre. This book definitely appeals to the teenage boy audience because it is has so much going on.
My final piece mainly portrays the subject matter of both ideals and compromises. These subject matters are featured on my brain storm I did at the start of this unit, which I have now placed on this post right below the spine of my final piece.

Final piece (Working process)
Colouring my work on Photoshop was my best option because it allowed me to carefully colour in the lines and erase any mistakes made. The image below shows how easy colouring was. As you can see, I was able to neatly colour in the mans hat to give it a bright yellow and red colour scheme.
I then started to shade my work by slightly fading the paint brush and going over every illustration that needed shading. The shading helped to give each illustration some texture and prevented them from looking boring and basic.
After all of the colouring and shading was done, I began to organise my three pieces of work (front cover, back cover and spine) to make the full book dust jacket.

Hand drawn draft
This is what I will use for my final draft, which while result in my final piece.
The reason why I am using this is because I feel that it really portrays what I want my book cover to look like because it's simply really crazy. My plan is to put it onto Photoshop, create a spine for it and then colour it all in.
